Care

Prepping and caring for your tan is SO IMPORTANT!

Achieving the perfect tan is a 50/50 service. I apply the solution evenly & efficiently and you prep & care your skin properly. I can not stress how important prep care is! Remember a spray tan soaks into the first few layers of your skin cells, I can not control the condition of your skin cells.

Not following the prep and care instructions can result in an underdeveloped tan, uneven tan, or shorten the time the tan lasts. I do not offer refunds in any circumstances.

Caring for Rapid Tan

-Wait 2-4 hours before RINSING. This is a QUICK rinse with cool/warm water NOT hot water.  For a deep dark tan wait 6 hours to rinse.

-You will see the cosmetic bronzer wash off after your first rinse, this is normal.

-DO NOT use any soap, shampoo, conditioner, or any other body/facial cleansing products for the first 12 hours of having a spray tan.

-DO NOT scrub or use any luffas or wash cloths at any point while you have a spray tan.

-Pat dry after rinse.

-Do NOT apply any products to your skin for 12 hours (no lotion, no oil, no makeup, and no deodorant)

-Your tan will continue to develop for a total of 12 hours.

-Moisturize daily to help your tan last the appropriate amount of time.

Caring for Basic Tan and Bronzer Free Tan

-Wait 12 hours before showering.

-You will see the cosmetic bronzer wash off after your first rinse, this is normal. (if you got the bronzer free solution, there won’t be any color rinsing off in the shower.)

-DO NOT scrub or use any luffas or wash cloths.

-Pat dry after shower.

-Moisturize daily to help your tan last the appropriate amount of time.

Tan Tips

*Avoid alcohol based products, alcohol can dry out the skin and can cause the tan to fade quicker and unevenly.

*Avoid products containing alpha hydroxy acids. Products with these chemical compounds will accelerate the fading process of your tan which will shorten the life of your spray tan.

*Avoid hot showers, baths or soaking in pools or hot tubs. Any extended period of time in water will fade your spray tan.

*Always wear sunscreen when venturing outdoors. Spray tan solution does not contain sunscreen and will not protect your skin.

*Moisturize daily, leading up to getting a spray tan and each day after you get the spray tan. Hydrated skin makes your tan last longer and slows down the process of natural skin exfoliation.  Avoid alcohol based products which will dry out the skin and can cause the tan to fade quicker and unevenly. You may also want to use a tan extender to moisturize and extend the life of your spray tan.
