Prepping and caring for your tan is SO IMPORTANT!

The preparation leading to your appointment directly affects the results of your spray tan. If you want a flawless tan, you need to prepare & care properly.

Achieving the perfect tan is a 50/50 service. I apply the solution evenly & efficiently and you prep & care for your skin properly. I can not stress how important prep care is! Remember a spray tan soaks into the first few layers of your skin cells, I can not control the condition of your skin cells. I do not offer refunds in any circumstances.

How to Prepare for your appointment

SCHEDULE ANY PEDICURE, WAXING, OR FACIAL APPOINTMENTS before your spray tan appointment!! This is very important!

SHOWER. SHAVE. EXFOLIATE. NO LOTION. NO DEODORANT. NO MAKEUP.

Exfoliate 

Always make sure to exfoliate the day before your spray tan appointment. This is especially important if you’re using an oil based scrub. Any oil based scrubs used the day of the tan may act as a barrier and prevent the tan from developing evenly. Use a gentle body scrub, exfoliating mitt, or loofa. Exfoliate your skin before shaving, this helps to get rid of dead skin cells that could clog up your razor—it also works to prevent cuts and razor burns. 

Shave

Again it is important that you exfoliate/shave the day before your tan appointment. Shaving the day before your tan allows the solution to absorb evenly and last longer. Also shaving after your tan could compromise the life of the tan, as well as create an uneven tan.

Shower

Showering before your spray tan is important—clean skin creates the best canvas for an even, long-lasting tan.

For morning or early afternoon appointments, shower the night before. For late afternoon or evening appointments, shower the morning of your appointment.

If you need to shower closer to your appointment time, please do so at least 2 hours beforehand. This gives your skin enough time to fully dry and return to its natural pH.

Coming straight from work? No problem! Simply skip applying lotion or body oil that day. If you’re wearing deodorant or makeup, you can easily remove it at your appointment using the cleansing wipes provided in the studio.

After your shower, do not apply:

  • Lotion

  • Body oil

  • Deodorant

  • Makeup or skincare products on the areas being sprayed

Arriving with clean, product-free skin helps ensure the best possible spray tan results.

Appointment Details 

The appointment takes approximately 10-15 minutes.

Female Clients: If you do not want tan lines, you’ll want to go fully nude. If you aren’t worried about tan lines, you can wear a bra/panty. I do provide a disposable thong panty and disposable nipple pasties. 

I only take male clients accompanied by female clients. Male clients must wear some form of bottoms. This can be boxers, swim trunks, or speedo. I do have disposable boxers available in studio. Going nude is not an option.

WEAR OR BRING DARK, LOOSE, COMFY CLOTHING AND FLIP FLOPS for after tan application.
